Top Honor from ASPA

The Baspar Chemi Sepidan Group, a knowledge-based company located in the Esfahan Science and Technology Town, was awarded the Excellence Award for knowledge-based companies by the Asian Science Park Association (ASPA) in 2022 after ranking among the top four companies from Asia's science and technology parks.

According to the public relations office of Baspaar Shimi Sepidan, the company achieved this recognition by producing compound products, offering 40 proprietary knowledge-based products with commercialization potential, and providing laboratory services in chemical and agricultural domains. This was accomplished with the goal of high profitability, value chain optimization, and knowledge access, enabling its selection as one of the top four knowledge-based companies in Asia.

Operating under the brand name BCS, Baspaar Shimi Sepidan is recognized as a leading innovation lab focused on developing an innovation ecosystem and manufacturing advanced engineering polymers. The company has launched an innovation and business development center, a research and product innovation center at Isfahan University of Technology, and three production plants in the Morchekhort Industrial Zone in Esfahan. It continues to expand globally with research and development centers in Germany, Turkey, China, UAE, Taiwan, India, Serbia, Vietnam, Malaysia, South Korea, and Italy, aiming to lead in the supply, production, and innovation of polymer products in the industry.

According to the report, the ASPA Award is granted to companies that have successfully commercialized innovative ideas and technical knowledge through high-level management skills, contributing significantly to technological development in Asia.

The ASPA Award Ceremony is held annually by the Asian Science Park Association among companies and institutions based in its member science parks. It aims to promote knowledge, encourage knowledge-based and technology-driven companies, facilitate commercialization of technological achievements, create opportunities for finding business partners, and showcase successful business models.
